Björn Schwarz serves as Head of Strategy & Project Management Office (PMO) at Advisory-Corp, bringing two decades of exceptional experience from the world’s most prestigious consulting firms and financial institutions. His distinguished career includes senior positions at McKinsey and BCG, where he developed deep expertise in strategy development, real estate development advisory, market research, and complex project management.

His specialized expertise in mortgage lending and mortgage-backed securities spans eight years as a senior manager, during which he led five real estate portfolio transactions and two secondary RMBS transactions with a combined value of EUR 2 billion. His responsibilities encompassed sophisticated financial modeling for deal strategy scenarios, refinancing strategies, and comprehensive management of external advisory teams.

Björn’s leadership capabilities are evidenced by his management of commercial due diligence teams of up to 25 internal and external advisors, and his role in delivering regular, country-wide benchmarking studies on mortgage lending at McKinsey. His operational expertise extends to property valuation leadership for NPL portfolios, including both drive-by assessments and comprehensive full valuations through external advisor networks.

His diverse experience includes serving as Interim Head of Risk Management, leading Bank-wide Project Management Offices, and holding positions as Head of Internal Audit and Head of Outsourcing Controlling. This breadth of experience uniquely positions him to address complex strategic and operational challenges across multiple business functions.

Academically, Björn holds a degree in Economics from the University of Passau in Germany and an MBA from the prestigious University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, providing him with both analytical rigor and strategic business acumen essential for senior consulting leadership.
